Pictograms designed in 2006 as part of a Corporate Identity book.

These pictograms were my first job ever in Poland. I worked for Impet Studio here in Krakow for seven months, developing the new brand identity for N.EN Nowa Energia, a company that provides gas tanks for areas not reached by the municipal pipe system.

The images are the result of an integrated 3D/Photoshop workflow, which proved quite successful. I loved working on these pictograms. For once I could model non-photorealistic objects in 3DS MAX without worrying about the render, since everything was eventually shaded in Photoshop with layer styles and masks.

The first one is pretty similar to Barack Obama’s campaign logo. Maybe its designer saw them and got inspired…I did it first!
