Mastering Photoshop for Web Design Ebook Cover
Smashing Magazine’s new ebook is out and I designed its cover.
Mastering Photoshop for Web Design is a new ebook by the folks at Smashing Magazine. As usual I designed the cover and here it is:
The design follows in the style of the first cover I designed, i.e. a stylized vector landscape with keywords from the book integrated in the perspective.
I had a blast creating this and as always it’s a pleasure to work with Vitaly & Co.

I don´t understand the meaning of the illustration, what is related to Photoshop and web design? but I like the general look, very neat :)
There is no meaning. It’s an abstract landscape that intentionally has nothing to do with Photoshop, just like the previous cover. You don’t have to be literal all the time. I thought it would be stupid to represent Photoshop and web design with concrete objects so I chose an abstract route.
Is a good idea, there are many represantions of photoshop, and are verry literal
