I designed the art for Mariposa’s 2007 cover album “Best Company.”

Italian band Mariposa contacted me to design the art for their 2007 cover album “Best Company.” The title comes from an Italian clothing brand, made popular in the 1980′s by its ubiquitous sweatshirts. The design reproduces such a sweatshirt. I actually traced a picture I took of one of my sweater lying on my bed. That’s my room here in Krakow! The concept of the sweatshirt lent itself perfectly for the booklet spread: I just had to roll out the sleeves and fill them with text! The logo of Mariposa’s label Trovarobato has been worked in the original Best Company logo on the shirt’s tag.
