Goodbye, Meat…
Illustration created to commemorate my second year as a vegetarian.

Yep, it’s been two years. Everything is ok. I still love (some) meat, I just don’t feel like eating it, and I don’t miss it. Amazing what will power can accomplish.
The most interesting aspect of being a vegetarian is exactly that: getting rid of habits, testing your limits, discovering new ways of living.
There are some moral and environmental reasons behind my dietary choice, but mostly it’s about knowing myself better.
Buon appetito!

Congrats on making it two years! It can definitely be hard to break old habbits. I have been vegetarian / off and on vegan for about 8-10 years. It wasn’t hard for me to really kick meat too much because I didn’t worship it like some people do these days. So it was really easy to say good bye to it.
I have to say the hardest thing for me has to be cheese. I drink and use soy / rice / coconut / hemp milk, so I don’t use dairy milk at all. But if I order a veggie pizza or something like that… It’s my weakness. I love pizza. I do make my own from time to time and when I do I usually use vegan cheese, but if I’m ordering out it’s usually dairy cheese. I think that has been the hardest thing for me to kick.
I don’t eat it very often, just here and there. I heard Tofurkey brand is coming out will 100% vegan pizzas! They will be veggie, peperoni, sausage, etc. With Vegn cheese. They sound and look like they will be yummy. I can’t wait to give them a try.
Anyways, I am just blabbing now, haha.
Congrats and keep up the great work. I enjoy your work!
