Client Portrait: Helmut Neumann
After I finished working on HandyEtat’s new icon, its developer Helmut Neumann asked me to draw a portrait of him. Here it is.
Helmut sent me a couple of pictures and a video to use as reference. Here’s the sketch I drew while watching the video:
The final portrait was drawn in Illustrator. This was a quick, fun assignment. I’d like to do more portraits so if you’re interested let me know.

In what program you draw the lower picture?
Photoshop.

And the upper one is only Illustrator right?
Yes. Linework done with the Brush Tool and coloring done with the Blob Brush. With a tablet, of course.
