Interview on Creative Swell
One of my clients, Andy Law, has interviewed me for his blog.

My first ever interview. Andy Law, of Web Agencies fame, a client of mine, has asked me questions about my background, my current activities and the way I do my business.
It was a pleasure talking to him and a precious opportunity to raise some issues on the current state of design.
If you’re interested in my background and my views on design drop by Creative Swell and read the full interview.
Thanks Andy! (Hey, I’m sure they never think he’s a woman when they see his name…)

Thanks again for the advice, I needed to get those up.
…and no one has ever thought I was a woman, at least they have never said anything. :)
thank you, Andrea, for the folowing words:
“involved in marketing, inventing brand names, slogans and copy. That was a horrible experience for me. From what I saw, marketing is an evil industry that manufactures needs in order to sell products with little or no value to unsuspecting customers. I really felt guilty for doing that”
that is really it! and I think the same. but there is a question: nowdays clients often order up evil and odious ads to do. what’s your reaction to such kind of orders? do you say NO to that kind of clients or say ‘OK, I’ll do it whatever it is’?
since I am starting over my designer’s career and feeling the same abt the advertizing industry, which brings much more bad than good, I ask for your advise :) thank you!
it is very sad that you don’t want to answer ;(
bye…
Take it easy.
Just try to draw the line somewhere. In the long run it’s better to keep a moral integrity even if it means passing on jobs early on.
