Frank Zappa is my favorite composer of all time. He was born on December 21st, 1941. Were he still alive he would turn 68 today. I’m celebrating that with an icon.

Instatuts has just published my new tutorial “Painting a Happy Clownfish in Photoshop.” To celebrate that I created a wallpaper featuring the clownfish.

Here’s the star of today’s tutorial on Psdtuts+ presented as proper OS icon for both Mac and Windows for the sake of completeness.

After the Beer Cap Social Icons here’s another set based on the original Chimay Beer Caps. After a welcome suggestion by Dan Wiersema of We Love Icons I created bottle caps for the major soft drinks around today. The odd inclusion is Vita Cola, a blast from my past.

I recently had a short bout with the flu. It threatened to delay my return to Krakow but fortunately it subsided just in time. Sadly some of you haven’t been so lucky so I put together a small icon set to cynically exorcise this annoying ailment.
By the way I haven’t had a proper 7-day-in-bed flu in 7 years. Cool!

The Moka Express coffee maker is what Italians use everyday for coffee. I made this icon as part of a “breakfast icon set” that will be published soon. Since this icon is the object of a tutorial I wrote for Psdtuts+ I thought I’d publish it while I complete the set.
